What made you go into making signatures here?

always wanted to make signatures.But didn't want to buy photoshop so never made any.And i really was planing to do exactly what i said i was going to do here

I don't know how to make sigs or anything like that :? .
I mostly browse the internet looking for good websites that give free signatures :P .
Right now i'm playing a game called terra corps,it's a wicked online multiplayer 3d tank game.
I hope to post 10 times without doing anything that will be considered spaming :) and getting a userbar for the clan i'm in.

i really was planing on doing that.But then....noobie mentioned gimp in another introduction topic,and that is how i got addicted to making signatures :cry:

i used to go on Cheat Engine forums a lot (LINK REMOVED-ADVERTISING) and Trebor does now. i only went into a section called Random Spam (RS) where everyone was just completely obnoxious. then someone mentioned this site for signatures. then i came here and i like this place way better because people arent completely mean like they are there. seriously go to LINK REMOVED- ADVERTISING. you will see what i am talking about.

Well, like a year or so ago I was really into making Warcraft 3 maps. One forum I was part of was devoted to Warcraft 3 and tutorials. I went through a few tutorials on editing skins, models, loading screens, minimaps, etc. The majority that I saw said they used ULEAD Photo Impact. So I downloaded the program and started to make feeble images for my maps, mostly just recolors of existing units. After awhile I dug into some tutorials to better advance that section of my mapping 'skills' and saw most were for signatures and userbars. I started making some userbars and then of course signatures and was making slow progress when my computer crashed and I had to reinstall my operating system (this seems to happen to me a lot). When I installed it again I downloaded Photoshop instead of ULEAD since it had more tutorials and went from there. (I think it was like in the first CS stage when I got it.)

I still really didn't get into learning anything until CS2 and I'm making slow process today. :D I just get caught up in my video games and life and forget about the little tool for long periods of time and then forget half the stuff I knew.

Heh, i was searching for free signatures on google, none was in the firsst page so i randomly clicked like the 9th page and it shows up with "Signaturebar". I saw all the signatures and i thought all of them were pretty nice so i joined. :wink:

id been into signatures for a while, so i decided to find a forum and settle down there...and ive been here ever since...been nearly 7 months now, and im still an "addicted member" inside hehe

I had photoshop installed on my computer since 2002 and never touched it. My friend gave me an updated copy so I installed that back in the end of 2007. Some reason near the end of February I started browsing for wallpapers and found people rendering out pictures and making their own.

I looked up some tutorials on rendering and started on that. I only did renders with the pen tool for a while (2 weeks). Then I was bored and explored the PlayStation forums and stumbled on their signature request thread. I tried to make one for myself but ugh...then I began making some signatures for others to improve techniques before working on mine. ^__^

I then stumbled on this site by accident, I don't even know how. But it seemed like an interesting place. So I stayed. I think I joined a month ago.

I had photoshop 7 (7-8 months ago).I buyed it cuz i heard of the "undiscovered" powers of PS(like making daylight into night)
I somehow from google came here...And i started using ur tutorials.A friend gave me CS3 for free, and that's how all started...

well, i was googling 'bout what the heck is a signature and then pop goes this site. now am lovin' it. I love making sigs for others, but only those sigs that suits my style. Maybe I'll try some other styles too. :wink:
