Youre extremely lucky you got this made before i noticed, as if i had seen all the pointless couple of word posts in the show off section before, you would have had this put on hold untill you made 10 quality posts as stated in the rules very clearly.

and the guy replied

Sorry i didnt see that in the rules :?

i checked the rules and it says:

We will not, under any circumstance, tollerate pointless post.
Especially to get your postcount up to 10 to make a request.

This includes:

opening up of old topics with a pointless post of just a couple of words.

Posting things like..."nice sig" in the show off area in every post.
And any other area of the forum for that matter.

Members who are found to have done this, will only be told their posts do not count, and will be asked for 10 quality posts in order to have their request valid.

So i suggest why not put some kind of code?a code you have to post when you request a signature?and if the code is there it means that person read the rules. If the code isn't there, the person didn't read the rules. And you can't make the signature for him/her.And also it might help if part of the "pointless posts" rule was in the signature request rules.

so what do you think?

Well...part of the pointless post part is in the request rules already.

We put the rules right at the top of the forum, its really noticeable, but some members will always just skip straight past them, all we can do is remind them to read the rules at the end of the day. Its a pain but we're always going to get members like this.

At the end of the day, if they dont read the rules, they dont get their request fulfilled, so its their loss i suppose lol

Im with Noobie on this one. At the end of the day no matter what we implement you're always gonna get a few jokers who deliberately break the rules and then blame it on the old.. "Oh I didnt see That"

but thanks for posting the suggestion, as always we always welcome helpful posts and concerns.
