Hi guys,

I usually type out one of these monthly update kind of things to kind of remind everyone about the highs and lows at signaturebar.com as well as any new changes and ideas for the future

The Problems

I dont like to dwell too much on the past but suffice it to say there were a whole range of funky things going on at sigbar this month. From the forums being hacked (By none other than MrXile Aka Sicarius) to suffering from a DDOS attack on my old server I cannot emphasise how stressfull this month was in terms of downtime.

The great thing is that all the problems were resolved, the evil members were banned and the forums are now back with an even stronger positiveness than before :)

Whilst all of these things were happening I probably didnt get a chance to thank everyone for all their patience as well the encouraging words and sentiments I received whenever the problems arose... I couldnt ask for a better bunch of members :) So thank you all.

Some Changes To SoTw

With the SoTw competition gaining more interest each week it runs, I have decided to hand over responsibility of the contest to a sigbar staff member. This means General Antillies will be stepping down from the organiser position and our new staff member who will be announced later this week will take over.

Special Thanks

As always every month I like to hand out special thanks to members who have contributed and really helped the site to grow and develop in some way. So apart from my great staff members (Gromit & Noobie special thanks go out to:

mel
etha
Diesel
fireChameleon
lokifeyson
xBroncos
Dantekain
Blackpoison

many thanks everyone and I hope September 2007 will be a more fruitful month :)

good read the site certainly seems to be on the up ...you should do a monthly newsletter and e-mail it to all the users :)
