I had an idea that we could have sig duels against people on other sites such as gamerenders (which has quite a decent forum). Also, any other site that has a good graphics forum/section. We could have a sigbar team of say, 5 members against 5 members from another site. It would be fun and interesting/ also it would benefit sigbar in many ways.
that might be a good idea, but depends on the duels coz we do signatures and they might do something else...

sounds like a good idea to me, but how would voting work. i think the sites members would be biased towards their own sites work. so it might be hard to decide who wins, lol.

Hmmm, I been thinking about this for about an hour now..... and I have absolutely no idea :P
Maybe the teams should be mixed 2/3 from each site on each team?
Anyone got any ideas for voting?

get a neutral 3rd party grx site to vote that way it would be fair

I marvel that the level of pure creativity those kids have. I think once a signature actually blew my socks off. I didn't know that was possible. All I know is that if I was put up against one of their best it would be like a match fighting a tsunami.

nothing makes me happier than members basically saying sigbar's sigs aren't as good as other gfx sites :(
Honestly, do you people think we suck that bad?
Who says whether a sig is good or not? If it looks nice and has nice elements then I say its a great sig in itself!!!
EDIT: no...I said to many mean things.........................
Sorry everyone, I'm just ticked off and this really set me off.
Don't let anyone tell you you're not good enough because a sig you make isn't up to someone elses standards.....................

come on guys the sigs here are the best i ever seen and to pretty much say you suck or we would get our *** kick is kinda mess up. our worst sigs get beat a lot of top gfx, now i understand their are some really good gfx sites out their that doesn't mean sigbar are gonna get thier asses handed to them, it just gives us a challenge to over come. i really do beleave that if we give it our all we would come up on top, theirs a reason why sigbar is #1 we just have to show them why

AC is right. Not to be against this website or anything but this is how I see it. Most of their artists have the basics down by far such as depth, flow, composition, colors etc... Its something thats not taught at this forum in all honesty. The only person I see trying to teach people those things are AC but people still dont seem to get it. Most CnC here is taken the wrong way. If you give too many pointers everyone takes it offensively but over there its acceptable because it is a competitive environment, as to why they strive so high. Most of their artists have that basic down and understood. The few that dont are there to get up to that point.
Moreover the voting would be biased because it would turn into a game of whose the better website and considering they have more active/ frequently returning members they would win.
I know I just ****ed someone off with this comment but this website is based more around the requests and a family friendly environment rather than a competitive environment.
Completely right.
Even the battleon forums would kick our ***. They have some horrible sigmakers, but there best are kickass. And i mean better then jeffigs/wolf/ac kickass.

Sigbar is different, we strive to help everyone, be friendly and nice to everyone and we have helped alot of people start making sigs!
So i have to say, if we versed some place like planetrenders, sure we would probably lose in gfx ability, but we would beat any other site for having the greatest, friendliest site around!!!
