My first ever blend

This is my first ever blend on PSP, I just want a little bit of advice on the white edges. How do I get rid of it?

ok never done a blend before lol it looks like ya embossed or buttonized the base layer it's curling up at the top and the bottom try again leaving the layer as is and it should be alright ;)

I didn't actually emboss or buttonise anything...*puzzled*
