Oh, well if the one who is requesting it ( Cursed angel?) can see what it is, that is best

I AM NOT a UB expert lol.
BUT, I think a feathered oval selection and a soft white brush set to 30~50 opacity would give your bar the good old fashioned shiney look lol.
taking out the bevel.
burning near the bottom with 30 strength till the shadow matches closely(but not too closely, a bit smaller) to your 'lighting'
or just feather oval select the bottom and do the same thing but with a black brush.
your line patterns should be a lighting color imo, and overlapping the render (or/of whatever that is) a bit more than it is.
As the other guy said, Smaller less detailed image. IT looks like a bronzed skull wearing a thong over his face, in a ragged cape, holding out a skeleton like hand. But this portion doesn't really matter because again it was the other guy's image. Just try and scale it down a bit so more of the image can be seen. So we know a bit more of what Cursed Angel's about.

i'm somewhat a userbar expert. ^^
some tips: you notice on mine, i have the white part outside the render? that's an outer glow, not stroke. and what Ambrose said, take out the bevel and replace it with either the classic gloss effect, or what i've tested (and worked):
Image > Apply Image
Layer Style > Bevel and Emboss
I had the picture of the settings, but forgot to upload... ._.
if ya need any more help, just PM me and i'll do so. ^^

okay, can someone PM me and let me know what program(s) you are using to design this stuff? cuz, WOW. Crazy cool-looking. I use Macromedia Fireworks for my forum sigs, and I thought they were cool- till I found this site, lol.
The UB looks great, imo- love the coloring in it, the burnt orange glow... like a setting sun......
