Well Im fairly new to the userbar making world. A day old in fact, but I'm in love with it, just trying to figure out how I can make better ones. All suggestions are appreciated and any tips I can get for making more professional looking userbars would be greatly appreciated.

My biggest problem is getting the font the right size(my first userbar didnt use the more common font.) So while im using the common font for a userbar, I can't get it to look the same as photoshop made userbars. Ideas?

Currently im plotting to make a more personal one for my name and then I plan on making more Militaristic ones for military vets and current service members.

wow, you're pretty good. the text looks kind of weird; did you apply an inner shadow on it? not the best idea.. what program did you use to make these?

btw, the font used on most is called Visitor TT2 -BRK-, size 14 or 15, vertically centered. if you need any help making these, ask me. i'm not the best at them, but i'm sure i'll be able to help... :D

Im using that font at sizes 12-14,(not the barack obama one, but the others).

Im using Fireworks MX to make them and Im not sure about any other font settings I might have going on.

I could definately use any help that you can give because I'm insanely new and having trouble. I think the hardest part is that im using Fireworks MX and not Photoshop.

huh... i didn't know Fireworks was a graphics program... if you ever have the money, go out and get PS, or even the free trial. if ya do, i could help you out a lot more... =P

Yea..unfortunately not many people do know much about Fireworks. But Im gonna look into getting the PS free trial and then see if I'll want to buy it. So mind helping me assuming that I do have PS(getting the trial now)

The text on the 4th made one and the 1st made one are a little hard to read. The shadow above them is one of the reasons, IMO. Great work though! Keep it up!
