Myspace?

It might seem a bit vain, but perhaps we could make a sigbar Myspace and put some of our best works on it, if people start adding us then other people are gunna see, kinda like free advertisement? We could get every customer to add us to Myspace.

Not to sound negative, as there are probably benefits to it too but...

Theres a lot invlved though, deciding who will run it for starters. then theres the making of it and collecting all the signatures together.
Im not so sure it would be good to add anyone and everyone though as thats technically spamming and the main reason a lot of people dont like myspace. I get a lot of friend requests from bands and sites and allsorts and it does my head in lol...we dont wanna be one of those people.
So how would it work? wait for people to add us?
Would they only do that though to spam our myspace? and not to look for signatures etc?
Its a tough one.
what does everyone else think?

no no, not Myspace *****... Get our customers to add us, have all teh designers add us and then people will looka t it and be like 'Hmm, this sure does look interesting' and then click on it and be like 'WOW DUDE!' and see all the sigs and come and get us to make one for them! :D

Once again a great idea and Im a big fan of MYspace for promotion but only if its done correctly. Otherwise as Noobie says it can get out of hand and you started becoming hated more than anything else.

Theres a lot going on at the moment with site changes so we'll put the myspace idea on hold for now... But as you mentioned it is great for publicity if done well... Its just unfortunate that the bands and entertainers have kind of ruined it..

Would be kool if some one could whip up some thing to slap on our myspaces with a link to the site in it for now though. I would but I dunno how to put links in sigs. :?

to put a link in the sig itself you have to save it in html and you can't up that unless you are putting it on a site, as part of the site.

if you mean to put a link with the sig, I.E. like when you up a sig here and click on it it takes you to the home page, that is a matter of the code and you can just copy the one the site gives and change it a bit if you need :D
