def an nba addict right here, did you know that the Toronto Raptors are my home team??? They rule and have a lot of europeans on their team. It made the olympics a lot of fun to watch because teams had raptor's players all the time, like spain with jose calderon and jorge garbajosa.

I'm not really a NBA addict though I do like watching it sometimes. My favorite team is the Cleveland Cavalier. My uncle is a addict. His favorite team would be Houston Rockets. He comes to my house from far away just to watch them play. (He dosen't have cable).

I used to be a big fan of watching the NBA, but when I stopped playing basketball I slowly stopped watching it.

I'm still very interested in playing the console games though. PS2 PS3 etc.

NBA isnt like the old age. Sure, the players are getting better. But the mantra their going is through offense. I cant see any defense. NBA isnt like the old times where "defense really wins championships". There will be your LeBrons, the Kobes, the D-Wades. All offensive players. I agree that Kobe is a good perimeter defender, and with Bynum in his side, they can do it. Lakers got the 'team play', though they focus on Kobe most of the time. But that doesnt go with LeBron. He's a good 2nd defender. He cant even lock a player.

If some players today plays in the 80s or 90s, I aint that sure if they can capture the gold. . .

Who doesn't LOVE the NBA? I wanted the Houston Rockets to win (for McGrady's sake), so when they got Artest I was stoked. Now McGrady's out for the season, and for the talent they have, they're doing bad. Plus, they also traded away Alston... Yet another first round bye for them, oh well. I also want the Raptors to advance to the playoffs, but, that'll probably not happen.

Well, that's the luck of the draw, eh? That's what you have to love about the NBA. Expect the unexpected.
