I need help

ok guys i posted in this section becuase i was wondering if someone can make me a gimp guide for dummies aka myself becuase iam only young. i relativly have no idear how to use gimp and i want to learn. is thir anyone that could post a guide for dummies like a really easy to understand guide for me or were i may be able to get one ty.

It has in all the basics you will need, like rndering etc.

What version of gimp are you using? If its 2.4 then thats why youre having the problems, as theyres a bug which needs fixing in 2.4
2.2 will be your best bet to making a sig

yer iam useing 2.2 and i tried all the tuts and urs i got thrue a bit of it then thir would be gap i wouldnt understand and i just get frustrated and screw everything up like with the 1 you said thir i got stuffed becuase i couldnt find a picture decent 1( btw dose anyone no were i can get some decent pics for like halo cartoons naruto you no that cool stuff ,everything you no i just have so much trouble finding pics) anyway i got stuffed on the part were you have to get rid of the picture background and do the ouline and **** man i was so annoyed i like almost thrue my computer out the window = iam a dumb person takes some explaining to get it thru me but yer i got stuck on thats and just fudded everything up thats y i requested a easier tut ffor morons like me no offence

well i will say only 2 things

1. navigate around the software, learn/find where different options/filters are, then it will be easier for u to follow tuts

2. gimptalk.com (possibly the best gimp resource site/forum out on the web)

yeah as said...fiddle with the program, regardless if its gimp etc.
get to know the controls then hit the ground running with some tuts.

He didnt post a tut, so i really dont know.
I suppose you could try searching a tutorial like..orb or button see if that works
