I suggest to just apply at places you think would be cool to work at :D

Well...when i was 16, i was heavily pregnant but i managed to get a job in a factory packing all sorts, like tights into the packaging, party bags, hairbrushes lol, allsorts...so how about something like that?
im sure if i could get a job at 16 and heavily pregnant then you should have no trouble hun....so factory work could be the way to go for ya, and theres always loads of positions to fulfill, so you shouldnt have much trouble finding one....or go to your local job centre and ask them if there are any yts schemes available....you do a job for about 4 days a week, and for the other day, you go to college to learn more about the job, the money isnt billiant...not bad though, but you only stay on them for a year or 2, and most often than not, they will probably employ you full time once the scheme has finished. My sister did that with hairdresing.
Anything is better than nothing :)

If you're in the UK then the opening up of the EU means loads of cheap labour is available from places like poland. I have nothing against any race or person but the competition for certain types of jobs is much harder when the applicants are willing to work at minimum wage and work longer hours.

Any way good luck to you all... the worlds just getting busier... (Btw I think the polish guys and gyals are really hard working, i've seen some of them work and they're pretty good) just incase someone thinks im against them...

ah, that could be why youre having the problems then as a lot want fulltime now, erm...im not sure how old you have to be, but what about registering with a temp agency...or you could always nip to local shops to see if they need anyone, as long as they dont sell alcohol or cigarettes that is

Its this time of season. My brother is too looking for a job and many of the companies or offices he tries to contact for job applications say that they have hired for the holidays around August. So unless you are a super early bird or lucky I don't think there is a very large chance for having a job anytime soon. That just might be my area, though.
