Hello and welcome to the site! Everyone here is super friendly so if you really wanna learn this is the place to do it!

If you're just starting out I would recommend that you try GIMP first, then if you get into it try moving on to photo shop. When it comes to learning with GIMP, Noobie, one of our administrators, has 2 fantastic tutorials to get you started.

Noobie, I think FC(Firechameleon), myself and a ew other people use GIMP, so don't be afraid to ask for help! Noobie uses both GIMP and Photoshop which I think is the same case for FC, so you have 2 great options to ask for help there. Anyone that uses any program will be willing to help though, so get to meet some people, learn what they use and then learn their techniques.

Before you know it people will be learning from you! :D
