noob help with PS plx

well.. i just seem to have ps cs3 and i wanted to make a sig from it.. but things didnt go wel.. i opened new document and then i was wondering how to bring my render to the document/canvas

I tried many ways.. i copied the render and then ctrl+v but stil no render would appear

well.. i am new to ps.. so any help ??

go to render....select....all......edit....copy

go to signature......edit....paste

or

drag the render onto the signature, like click and drag

select all then copy the render
open the signature window/document and paste
sometimes u might still see empty because the render is bigger in size than ur canvas, then go edit>transform>scale and scale it down to fit ur canvas. Dont forget to hold shift while scaling down to keep proportions.
