Hi guys,
Just a quick run down of what this section and the concept of teams is all about. These rules are obviously subject to change and we will notify all team owners if any major changes occur.
What Are Teams ?
As you can imagine a team is simply a bunch of guys and girls that want to work together to achieve something. Whether that be to challenge others, create resources, tutorials or anything else. If you think you'd like to form a team to achieve something greater then this section will be for you.
How Do I Form A Team ?
To form an official team you need to make an announcement in the Team Creation forums. Once you have done so you will need to demonstrate that you have fulfilled the below requirements. Failure to do so means you will not be recognised as an official team.
- You must have atleast 3 Members and no more than 20 Members
- You must have a usergroup for your team which you use to discuss
- You must have a designated Team Leader of the Team
- You must be active on a weekly basis e.g. entering comps, adding resources or whatever it is you do.
- If you're active over a consistant time period you can apply for your own private team forum.
Once you have a thread in the Team Creation forum and it passes all of the above criteria an admin will finally approve your team and add it to the list of official teams.
How Do I Get New Members ?
Please use the Team Recruiting forum to post a thread announcing that you're looking for new members. Please read the Team Recruitment rules before posting in there.
How Do I Join A Team ?
If you want to make yourself available for a team there are 2 ways to do this and both are to be done in the Team Recruiting forum.
1.) You can respond to a thread where a team is looking for new members
2.) You can post a CV/Portfolio/Achievements thread announcing your self as a potential team member. The official teams will in general be browsing this section if they're in need of new members.
