Photoshop CS3 Tut Request - Changing Colors of a Pic

Hello everyone. So I'm determined to learn Photoshop and went out and bought it but I am so lost. For starters I have a pic that I want to change the clothing that she is wearing to white. Can anyone show me how to do this? I will provide link of pic.

Should work for clothes =]

When you get towards the end, if it's not white enough you can duplicate it and set the blending option to lighten or screen whichever looks good and as many times as you want. Hope it helps if you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask.
