My first tutorial and i'm trying to make it as concise as possible.
Ok, let's get started.
So you have your render that you want to recolor. Mine is like this.

Make a new transparent layer, and make sure it is over the render. Then,
choose your lasso tool or any other tool you use to select areas. Make selections in sections throughout the image, covering allthe clothes, but avoiding things like hair, jewellery and of course, skin. Make selections like this or a bit bigger.

Now, after each area you select, Fill it with the colour you want to recolour with. Best results with cyan, yellow, pink, or ither light colours. I'm usig cyan.

Notice i'm avoiding all hair, skin and jewellery.

When you are finished selecting and colouring all clothing areas, set the layer opacity to about 30%, or fiddle around till you get it the way you want.

When your finished, you may need to do a little touching up if you didn't make clear selections. This is what i came out with. Hope you learned something. You could also use this technique for hair highlights, or in the background. Have fun.
