Photoshop help!

I'm using a tutorial to learn some new techniques, and I can't figure out the following instruction:

Set this layer to Screen in the layers pallette.

I've looked multiple times and I have no idea how to set a layer to "Screen". I'm using CS3.

It is on the Right side of your workspace and it is on the LAYER Window where it shows what layer you are working on. the defualt it NORMAL which is what you will see and it will have a Drop down arrow to change that setting and over to the right from it is the FILL % setting and OPACITY % settings.
