i think second isnt so good :/
blacklines should be back a phpbb logo and smaller lines

First userbar is very nice and have nice colours
Second userbar i dont like very much because the diagonals line and the color doesn't suit

when i first saw this, i thought it was PHP, the programming language, not phpBB. =P

good, nonetheless, but the second one isn't too good... lower the opacity of the scanlines and put them at the bottom above the background layer. if you need help, ask me. ^^

I agree with the above persons and think the first one is better, but I think with a color change for the bottom(perhaps do the black and orange phpbb format) and with the phpbb logo over the scanlines it would look better.
