View Full Version : Please help with Tut!!!!!! (Noobie! Come!)

Please someone help me with this tut, I wanna do what hes doing so bad!

The parts I dont get are....
1. After hes done selecting his guy and gets rid of the black around him, how did he get the white background???
2. How does he duplicate his guy without the other one scaling around to?
3.How do he get one background to go over another one.


Anyways please! Could someone (preferably noobie) please explain this to me, even if its step by step. Please I beg of you.

That's a pretty bad tut, but I'll see if I can make it and then explain it to you. I think I know how to do it, but with how fast the camera goes and his voice drops in and out, it's pretty terrible.

Not a terrible finished product though.

no worries mate, I'm eating lunch at the moment but I'm nearly finished, I have it down pretty good so if you wanna give me the times of the movie you don't understand that would be helpful. ;)

His voice actually becomes offset at around 7 minutes, no wonder you were getting confused, he was telling you to duplicate and shade when the video is still making the border...

This is what I got using my own render. If this is the type of effect you're looking for I can def help you out man. Listening to him makes it sound painful, but it's pretty strait forward really. :)

Hmm where should I begin...Lol Ok umm

1:58-2:01 (how does he get it so that after hes done outlining the knight and deleting the black hes got a white background perfect for a signature?)

3:54-4:00 (how does he get it so that he makes the one Knight big and then gets it back on to put in the sig.)

4:28-6:07 (how does he put all those layers up so that the Knight disappears but the background doesnt and then he can put the grunge brush down and then the white grunge and then put the Knight back on top
of the kewl background.

6:44-6:47 (how does he move the text around like that?)

7:30-7:52 (how does he get the black border around his font?)

7:57-8:23 (how does he make the font look all cool like that?)

and uhhh thats about it lol :P
