hey guys Im a huge soccer fan and love the PES series, are there more members here who play the game? I know PES 2008 was a little dissappointing but Im sure PES2009 is gonna be awesome

I have never really been a real big football gam player, last football game I played was Fifa 98 for the Sega Meg Drive

So I picked up the comtroller and proceeded to play PES 2007, and I found it to be a good game, but it wouldn't get me back into playing football games

fifa 98 is a classic game, too good... but m a huge pes fan now, and Ive seen some news on PES 2009, and it looks really good

Lol, I only play Fifa and Winning Eleven games. Can someone tell me why PES is that great? i never tried it..

PES is basically the european version of Winning Eleven, in PES they fix all the bugs from WE

Ah, I see, I will either get PES 09 or Fifa 09, I'll just have to see the reviews for them

yeah I might buy both of them this year, not sure though. PES is 100% sure. but fifa is doing a good job as well. they improved a lot of things in the new version. so I will play demo of Fifa and then decide and will buy Pes anyway :P

Fifa `08 is what I play. My high school soccer team has a party after every other practice pretty much and we do a FIFA tournament. :D

pes ...what a load of crap, they have gotten worse and worse every year, the franchise used to be called iss pro , and that game play was second to none , but the recent pes are crap , to prove how much they are feeling the pressure , every year fif was always out a month b4 pes ,but not this year pes is coming out a week earlier.

i do hope pes 09 will be a lot better then pes 08 which was rubbish

well way back it was called just ISS mate, and it is true that pes2008 was not that good compared to the other PES games, it did got worse and Fifa dit get better, but still PES was better then FIFA, but thats only my opinion, its not a fact of course :P, everyone likes to play the game in his own way, some of them like fifa better and the other like pes :D

PES 2008 was a great game, i love scoring from long distance crosses by making my team mates go on runs down the wing

I heard that this game is pretty awesome. I have never played it before, but I have played many Soccer games before. As I am a Soccer fan/player. Love it. :)

no you shouldnt, first of all it was not what I expected from a next gen game, secondly the PES2009 release is in 1 and half month so its a waste to buy PES2008

your probably better off buying pes 09 and fifa 09 , or rent the 2 of them out and deide which you prefer , hopefully pes will be better than last year, in saying that the video to fifa 09 loooks amazing, (but videos always do eh)
