Problem with Text On Photoshop

Hey guys,
Im doing a signature and for some reason my text doesnt
seem to be working. When I click on the signature all I get
is a small dot. Ive re started photoshop still same problem.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

Don't just click... Click and drag it to make a box, and then you can put text in it...
