Questions (PS CS3)

Hello all,

I've been using PS Elements 5.0 for about a month and finally made the move to CS3 Extended a few days ago.

With this transition comes a few questions:

-How do you position text onto something like a gun or car bumper

-Does anybody have any good brushes that I can use for making my signatures? ( + brush)

-Are there any tips or tricks as to how to choose a good bg for your render?

-I don't know how to use C4D's but would be willing to learn how to. Are there any good sites out there for any?

-Text. I am amazed at some of the work that people have posted up here. I don't really know how to properly match my text/font with my signature.

-Right now, most of my work is based off of tutorials that I have found here. Is it normal that I base myself off of these tutorials so that someday I can use what I've learned to make my own signatures independently or did you guys just mess around with images a lot?

you can use the transform tools for repositioning your text like that

2. for brushes go to deviant art and search for photoshop brushes

3. it will come to you with time, just keep reading tutorials for now
