I believe that there's an all powerful being that rules over all existance, and that evolution is nothing more than a part of his grand design to bring creation into the world. But due to the fact that for said being, God, time is different and so the passing of our lives is within a wink of his eye. Evolution will eventually catch up to his idea. And the fact that some of the ways that our ancestors wrote down his teachings are dated and mistaken that doesn't undermine his existance.
God exists.
If you do things right people won't even know that you did 'em.

well i believe there is a god but we all have free will and for her/him to intervene in anyway shape or form would go against said free will we were all descended from eve not adam and eve just eve look at the theory of evolution personally imo it best explains as we as a species came to be as for thing like the bible and religion pffft just ways to control the masses as to miracles and such we create our own we are still developing as a species and gaining more intelligence and strength over the generations now providing we dont blow our selves up or get to reliant on technology we will continue to do so the brain and human genome are all mysteries waiting to be unraveled who knows maybe one day telekinesis and other such forms of mind abilities will come to fruition with in our species ^_^ thats about my 2 cents on the subject lol

Dam how could I forget my mum is superhuman lol...Ok I believe in 1 superhuman being...*whispers*my mum...
Well, okay then. Here we go:
I feel that there is a God, whether or not you believe in Him. I think that He is almighty and created the Heavens and the Earth in seven days. Some people don't see any logic behind this; but I say, He is God and can do as He wishes. We are simple humans and can not comprehend everything that is His will, but I think we will as time goes by.
I believe that every person is responsible for his or her own actions and truelly knows in their hearts that there is a God; despite what their mind tells them. I believe that since everyone is responsible for their own actions that there needn't be a government or official to tell them what to do, how to live...things like that.
I feel that every person knows if what they are doing is wrong and is mature enough to do it. I believe that if you repent to God with a heavy heart that He will erase your guilt and the wrong of which you feel that you have done.
I am not a Christian. I used to call myself that but I will no longer because of the people who also call themselves Christian and ruin it. When people ask I say I have a relationship with God.
I don't think that it is anyone's right to decide if somebody is a sinner or not. Humans have no right to judge anyone on anything. I believe that if you do have a relationship and faith in God that you do not walk around in such a manner of "Do you go to church!? Wanna come!? Are you saved!?" But rather showing Him through yourself, making yourself different from the others.
I believe that since we can not judge others, God will do the judging and He will decide.
I believe that God made all of us through His own image and loves each and every person that He created.
I know that humans have grown to be so far and distant from God that they no longer can see the good that He does and only focus on the bad; the bad which HUMANS have created. He gave us our own free will and we abuse it. It is not HIS problem to fix, but OURS.
WE started war, HE did not. WE must fix it.

It's said that he cares for us all. Well, does he really do? Too many bad things has happened to me to believe in his so called "care". This might sound egoistical, but doesn't it concern all of us gathered here? I bet bad things happened to y'all once. Well, say for yourself.

If ya look in back into history of men, you'll see a lot of death and destruction and most of the time it was in tha name of a religion and in tha name of god (and it doesn't matter which language). It's no wonder he pulled his hands of of us.

I believe that "seeing is believing". I won't believe until I see him.
Yeah, we killed in the name of God and we're still doing it. Take a look at Muslims working for those terrorist organizations. I think they're exageratting, because how could they kill in the name of God? The book says that God gives us life and he takes it back. He doesn't want us to kill in his name! It's just crazy! Someone who they consider as a 'link between God and humans' told them they'll get virigins if they commit a suicide, additionally killing innocent people. Crazy, ain't it?
To conclude, this world is rotting. And humans are guilty.

To get a bit off topic here...if ya look at it very hard you'll see that they don't do it in name of their God but for revenge...
They don't fear death cos they have the misconception that they are dying in a worthy caus and that they will be rewarded when they go to heaven.

Jajajaja, yeah that episode was great! and it really puts things into perspective as the God from Futurama didn't even know where the Earth was, and they also made a great point with Bender being God. If he does too much people become dependant on him, if he does little, they stop believing. So he acts with a gentle touch, like a safe cracker. He does something to help, or interfere here and there. There's a reason behind his actions, we just don't know what it is.

As for the souls thing...this might not even be remotely related or make any sense as I am probably the only one that does it but have you ever really sat down and pictred what it would be like if you weren't alive? I fyou couldn't think? Like literally had no mind, had nothing, no presence. There was nothing, space, absolute nothing.
it seems impossible that who I am, who you are, our minds aren't anything. That we have no "souls", that when we die nothing happens. For me it just can't be, there's too much that tells me that who I am can't dissapear forever...

If you believe in God, follow a religion, or are completely Nihilist that is still the reason there are different races on this planet.

Well supposedly we are paying for past sins or the sins of our ancestors. Or the ominous being(s) are allowing suffering for greater good of our civilization.
As I've said before along with a few others; God allows destruction and bad to happen because we have free will. God gave us the gift of free will and we are abusing it.
We create evil and all the bad things that there are. It is our job to fix it, not God's. Here's an example:
911, remember it? Of course you do. This made a lot of people question this so called "God" and why He would let such a thing happen. My answer? God didn't do it, the people who flew the planes did. If God was constantly stopping all of what we do we would have no free will, right? That's the beauty of things, we can choose how we live. Sometimes, however, negative consequences come from our actions.
As for mass deaths due to natural disasters and diseases...this may sound morbid, but for me it's pretty much true:
The earth is suspected to be way over the carrying capacity. And the population is growing rapidly. And since there are many ways to cure once life threatening diseases, not many people are dying. Evacuations, not many people are dying...Red Cross and Peace Corps...not many people are dying...
If the world keeps going as it is with "not many people dying" there is going to be a mass death caused by disease, hunger, not enough resources, and we won't be able to help it. Don't get me wrong I'm all for peace and non-violence, but I'm also for the survival of the earth and it's race.
People have to die, they need to die in order for others to live. It's a sad time when it happens, but God should not be blamed for something that needs to happen; naturally speaking, of course.

bible = best fairy tale EVER!
think about who wrote it and why....
people who want you to believe in it, but how can we believe in something written by man? and why do they always only take one sentence out of it, to explain things?
I.E. - http://www.mountainretreatorg.net/faq/animalheaven.shtml
-same link from my last post
why do they take only a sentence or 2 and get a big paragraph from it? especially when that sentence was part of one of the stories in the bible, a story that had nothing to do with the topic?
faith in afterlife = what people need so that they feel like they are not wasting their life going to work everyday and doing things not for themselves but for other people. because most people are afraid to die. they want to know that there will be something grand and magical after their death.
I took a "survey" at a fair once (btw, big mistake!) the guy said that jesus died for us, so that we can have everlasting life, all we need to do is beleive in him.
I said ok, so as long as hitler believed in jesus he got into hevean?

Your all misled.
The bible is a book of stories, adam and eve isnt true, its a story to help us understand where we came from, where everything came from.

So it is used to explain what we don't understand. That is just another fight against religion. People used it as a form of what science is today. To put our minds at ease, to put faith back into the human race, and to move onward into everyday life so we no longer needed great philosophers. The days of thinking have died. Welcome to the new era.
By the way, I use Christianity as a basis because I have a much more extensive knowledge about its teachings than any other organized religion. I don't think it would be quite fair to 'bash' the other ones until I dabble into a little more research. Though I have mainly given up on researching such topics for reasons that would take far too long for me to maintain interest in explaining to you guys.
Sorry, I believe in what I say in all my posts. Though that should seem self evident since no one really has any answers to these questions that we waste our lives on.
