Render

How do you cut out a render from a picture? I followed that one tutorial for gimp but It didn't work. Anybody have any ideas whats wrong?

follow this after making a path around the render

ok here's what you gotta do
once you have clicked on the outline of the man,go to dialogs,and click Paths.
When that comes up you should be able to see "unnamed" right click on it and do Path To Selection.
Now click ctrl+i or go to select and press invert.Then if your using gimp 2.4+ press the delete key on your keyboard.If your using gimp 2.2 just press ctrl+k.
Then go to dialogs>paths>and delete your unnamed.And just follow rest of the tutorial
