Ive noticed recently alot of people have been replying to spam bots, either not knowing what they are or making fun of it.
Just a friendly reminder not to reply to them, as it keeps the thread alive (near the top) and can bring the spam bot back to the forum to post again.
What is a spam bot? A spam bot is something that makes a thread usually posting a whole bunch of links, can easilly be recognised by the jibberish, the large number of random links and by having 1 single post with a weird name. Often the links posted can be harmful if clicked, so remember, dont click the links, and dont reply to the thread. A member of the staff will be around to delete it shortly! If u feel like helping, PM a staff member a link to the thread!
An example i just found in the sig show off area (where 3 ppl replied), this post was riddled with links.
