Hey guys,
We have seen many a time, members making a challenge where the entries are made for the member making the challenge, meaning it is a request challenge.
We dont mind this happening, as long as the competitors know what they are getting themselves into.
So to make sure all is fair, we are bringing in some guidelines and rules when making these types of challenges.
You must, like usual, include the challenge template;
Size of art
Is there an entry fee?
Whether there is to be sigbar points as a prize
Tutorials allowed or not
Username to be included or not
Will you be using a render
Will there be a theme
Include the time and date that voting will commence
Mention how long voting will go on for
You must specify a prize of 3000 sigbar points or higher and you must add the prefix [R] in your thread title.
There must also be a specified theme/render/stock for a request challenge. Therefore, there are to be no freestyle challenges.
As it is a challenge, it is still a competition, so even though they are making you a graphic, there is still a prize going to the best publicly chosen graphic, meaning there must be a poll.
You may use whichever entry you like, as the competitors enter knowing they are making it for you, but you must make a poll to allow the public to chose the best, to give the prize to the winner.
An example thread.
[R]Diesels Challenge
I am after a superman sig! So lets see who can make me the best one!
Size of art : 400x130
Is there an entry fee? no
Whether there is to be sigbar points as a prize - 3000sbp
Tutorials allowed or not : yes
Username to be included or not : my username. diesel
Will you be using a render : yes
Will there be a theme : *add stock of superman*
Include the time and date that voting will commence - 5 days from now
Mention how long voting will go on for - first to 5
Entrants may add a watermark such as "www.signaturebar.com" discretely on their entry, but once voting is completed, if they are requested to remove the watermark they must.
Thanks,
Diesel
