Rise Agaisnt is a very different band. They have had there issues in the past, but they are pretty good nowadays. Haven't really heard of them since there Guitar Hero 3 single back a year ago. They really only have one good single, which is Prayer of the Refugee. But most of there songs are pretty original.

Yeah, I know... digging up old posts... but I have to say that Rise Against in one of my favorite bands, but when I saw all these replies, I laughed... All of those are their lame sell out songs... Back when I heard about them and started listening to them, they were still punk, not peta. Nobody had heard of them then... Even after I saw them in concert (which will have been four years ago this coming April), nobody had heard of them... Maybe 6 months later, Swing Life Away started to get played on the radio, and they started to sell out...

They have had there issues in the past

I don't get what that is supposed to mean... In the past, they were A LOT better then they are now... Revolutions Per Minute is still their best album (in my opinion), and Siren was probably second. State of the Union, Tip the Scales, Torches, Like the Angels, Dancing for Rain, Dead Ringer, To The Core... those were some of the good songs... Back at their concert, they didn't play Give it All (probably cause it and Ready to Fall have some of the worst choruses ever), they played all their real punk stuff... Now... I'll probably still get their new CD next month, but it probably won't be comparable to their old music, like their last CD...

well ready to fall mean's alot since it remind's me of someone very special. Also I would say the 2nd one I also like is survive. The video at the beginning really show's the meaning of the song. :D RISE AGAINST <3
