Basic Outline of Rules for FOR SALE SIGS

1. Only submit a sig to sell if you are willing to take the time to put the buyers name on it which would be your end of the Bargain.
(note: When making a sig for the Sig Sale Section please make it with the text/font that you will use on it (ex. YOUR TEXT HERE) This will help eliminate people asking for different fonts over and over again.

2. Only 3 sigs posted (1 Sig Each Post**) at a time Per Person in the FOR SALE SECTION. **If you have more than 1 Version of the same sig you can post it together in 1 post, to give the buyer a choice of version and this 1 post would count as 1 Sig. Since you should not sell the other versions.

3. Seller sets their Own price with a minimum cost of 50SBP

4. If interested in buying a Sig for the set asking price please post your interest in the post. Buyers can bargain with the seller through PMing the Seller, please don't bargain in the post itself.

A. If you are the seller and the bidding is done and you have completed the sig for the buyer please reply to your post letting staff know that the sig is sold.
B.Buyers need to Post that they will pay for it and Send the Sig Bar points to the seller. This will show others that you have bought it.

6. Notice to new members, to get enough points to buy a Sig you will need to post quality posts, please don't spam.

7. Buying a Sig does not entitle you to the Rights that are held for the maker of the sig. The buyer is not allowed to go to other sites, and enter it in any contests, or state that the buyer made the sig. If found doing this you will be banned and dealt with. Signatures are sold for WR Wearing Rights only, this means you buy it only to put in your sigspace and not claim it as your own.

8. As the artist if you want to put your name on the sig please make it small and not so blunt maybe even use just small Initials.

9. COMMENTS: This is not a Comment or CnC section please refrain from commenting on a sig unless it is to say you want to buy it. If you want to comment on a sig do so after the sig is sold, or in the sig showoff section since most members usually post their 4 sale sigs in this area also.

As far as the sigs are concerned:
- When listing Sig Please Be Descriptive in the Subject Line so people will find what they like easier.
- No bigger than 400x200
- Keep it Clean No Nudity or anything offensive.
- Keep the Price reasonable anywhere from 50 sig bar points.
- For your protection and the buyers please add a watermark to the unfinished (FOR SALE or DONT RIP etc. etc) with a low opacity to discourage rippers and then when you finish it for the buyer please delete that layer.
Example of Watermark (FOR SALE). Please take off after you put the buyers name on the sig.

10. Auctioning- You are permitted to make a silent auction when selling your sigs. This means members bid a number of SBP to you through PM with the highest bid winning the signature.

The idea of a silent auction is that members or potential buyers will PM the seller with a number of SBP that they would be willing to pay, and the person who gives the highest bid wins the sig.

Members are only entitled to make one bid, and that is their maximum bid they are prepared to make for that sig.

-When starting an auction you must put in the thread title [A].
-You must set a short deadline for bids, somewhere around 2-5 days.
-You must award the sig to whoever bids the highest amount of SBP.

An example of a silent auction (done through PM);

[A] Halo Sig

*posts image with watermark here*

Deadline for Bidding is 2-5 days from now.

Now member1 sends seller a PM with the following;
"I bid 150 SBP for your Halo Sig"

Now member2 sends seller a PM with the following;
"I bid 200 SBP for your Halo Sig"

Now member3 sends seller a PM with the following;
"I bid 180 SBP for your Halo Sig"

Now member4 sends seller a PM with the following;
"I bid 500 SBP for your Halo Sig"

Dead line is up and member 4 wins the sig as they bid the highest amount of SBP.
Now the transaction must be completed. The seller must notify the bidder that they won, and then the buyer must transfer the correct amount of points to the seller before the seller adds the buyers name to the sig.

These are the rules, they are open for revision upon any hiccup. Please follow the rules. IF you have any questions please PM a staff member and we will be glad to help you!
