and heres my outcome and what resources i used

the text was visitor and to get the colours i gradient mapped it to my liking for the next layer then i added the c4d and duplicated it put it on screen the made another copy visible and did an incandescent gradient map i think i didn't do the pathing but i think it was did with a filter called lens flare or gradient flare one of the two lol then my result was http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/6420/sasukeks7.png
oh and i did the border by select>all then i did either select or edit>stroke selection then select or edit>shrink then i think i used about 8 but you can use whatever looks good oh and it was on a new layer of course

btw none of the recourses where made by me i just found them about and liked em so i took em lol

Im liking my outcome so far but when he says to create paths i dont get it, anyone wanna let me know what to do?

oh ok lol easy but a bit tricky i hate doing it get your paths tool and make a path going with the flow then go to the paths menu in the main gimp doc and click stroke path then choose what amount of pixels you want it done by and choose the colour that you want it to be as yur fg colour then click ok then play wit some filters and do this as many times as you like

nice dude love it but the main part of the stock (sasuke) is to blue for me but it all works in sync nice can you post the c4ds you used plz?
