SigBar Award Nominations!

Hi everyone, we have decided to run the Sigbar Awards again for 2009 to see what members have been up to, and how their sigmaking has been. The idea of this is to recognize not only skills, but determination, improvement and other things such as CnC.

The awards available will be as follows:

Most Improved
This award will be presented to the person we believe has shown the ability to better their skills. It does not matter how long you have been making sigs, as long as we can see an improvement. There is a minimum of 15 sigs to win this award.

Most Consistent
This award is similar to the most Improved award. The winner will have to show that they have either a consistent style or skill level. Please not the skill level must be good. Minimum of 15 sigs to win this award.

Best Sigmaker
This award will go to someone that we believe is the all around best sig maker. The winner will have to consistent and skilled. There is also a minimum 15 sigs to win this award.

Most Contributive
The most contributive award will go to someone who consistently gives out thorough CnC (comments and criticism) or to the person who contributes the most to requests. All members are automatically entered into this category.

Most Dedicated
This award will go to the person who we believe never gives up, to the person that we see continuously making sigs, and to the person we believe is the most dedicated to trying to improve.

Best Smudger
This award will be presented to person that shows the best skills in using the smudge technique when making sigs.

Best Lighting
The Best Lighting award will go to the person that shows the best ability to consistently add good lighting effects to their sigs.

Best Sprite sig maker
This award will go to the person who makes the best sprite sigs. Minimum of 5 sprite sigs to win this award.

Best Anime Sig Maker
This award will go the person who makes the best sigs using an anime render/stock. Minimum of 5 anime sigs to win.

Best Real Person Sig Maker
The winner of the award will be the person that creates the best sigs using 'real people' as the render/stock. There is a minimum 5 real person sigs to win.

Best Car Sig Maker
This award will go to the person that makes the best sigs using a car/vehicle render/stock. Minimum of 5 car/vehicle sigs to win.

Judging will be done by the SigBar staff members in private before announcing the winners. The winners will receive a small award logo as well as the satisfaction of winning.

Any member with 100 posts and above can enter any of the above categories. This includes staff members as we can be trusted to look after the site, we can be trusted not to be biased.

You can enter ALL categories or you can chose to enter only a few. You must adhere to the requirements some of the categories have i.e minimum number of sigs.

To enter you must submit in PM to me (diesel) a link to either a www.signaturebar.com (http://www.signaturebar.com/) upload account, a photobucket account, deviantart gallery or a forum thread with your sig entries. You must also specify which categories you would like to nominate yourself into. You do not have to enter EVERY sig you have ever made, you can enter only the minimum for each category if you wish. But the more sigs the merrier making it easier to judge.

If you can try and order your sigs from the time you've made them i.e from oldest to latest and vice versa.

my sigs use to suck, like, PAINT suck, but now i got some awesome ones. i belive this is my best one

That is correct deadline will be roughl 2 weeks, not a set date, i want everyone to get their entries in as soon as posible, you can always add more sigs to your accounts and they will show up in the links anyway...

Okay. Well I just switched from GIMP To PS4, and my sigs already looking better. So give me a week or so to apply for most improved. Your going to be like wow! This guy sucked soooo bad. Haha. :D

I have had quite a few entries from people giving me a bunch of individual links. That is not the correct way to do it.

You dont need to post the sig, we will just look at general members and see who we spot giving the most cnc and requesta dn general help.

Also,

The sigbar awards will be on hold for a while, as we have not had enough entries. We will re open the awards in 1 month and hope to get mor eentries.
