I'm one of those guys who watches soccer every 4 years. When you have all the best players at the World Cup it just makes it more exciting for me and I really get into it. Occasionally I'll try to catch an EPL game or two...

i play soccer for about 12 years now, my position is Goal keeper and out of 10 school that was in the tournament they voted me best goal keeper, i'm planning to take my soccer seariouly so that on day i'll eventually play for australia national team for the olympics or maybe world up. Dreaming big but i'll make it there some day

Haha, AC Milan haven't been to great this season. They haven't got back on their feet since the 2006 Calciopoli scandal. I was just glad my Italian team Roma didn't get caught up in that, lost the league on the last day this year, was pretty crap.

I like watching the EuroLeague Basketball, the basketball part Panathinaikos Sports Club is the team I support when I watch the EuroLeague. The fans of Panathinaikos are the best in the world, they are mental as they set off fireworks in their stadium:D

I do like football, or soccer for all you americans ;), but i think it takes way too much out of other sports.

By this i mean it has millions of pounds/dollars spent on it, while other sports would be lucky to get 10% of that. It also causes far too much violence by the spectators. There was something in the newspaper the other day that someone was killed just because he had a football shirt on that the guy didnt like... thats just stupid..

So yeah, footballs good, but not great.

Have you never seen the money that gets spent on American sports? Football gets very little is you look at sports in the States, and anyway I don't see how money makes the sport crap, it makes things around the sport crap, things like ticket prices and TV.

I love it, I have been playing since I was 3 and I still am now. I used to be sponsored for it but dropped it because I am looking for a better sponsorship. I am a center striker/forward for a select team and my school team. And Messi is my favorite player. :D

Yes, the EPL is very competitive. Take Wigan this last couple of weeks, and considering they were going to be relegated they pulled it back and have since beaten Chelsea and Man Utd.

The end of the EPL season is going to be very tight and to the wire!
