Hey bright one, clean out your private message box so that I can send you my entry. I'd hate to violate one of these "I have a stick up my ***" rules that have been added since I was last active. Seriously, what happened to all the fun.

Oh grow up, I've cleaned up my inbox but there is no need to attack the new rules or try change anything, you haven't been active in months and everything runs smoothly the way it is..

WOW Ferahgo, seriously what happened to you. Things have changed since you left, you havnt been very active for a while, and now you come back and abuse a staff member and our system? Both your posts in this thread have been negative "whats this +dd crap" and "hey bright one" "stick it up your *** rules"

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but posts like these are unnecessary, we have a "site feedback" section for a reason.

Havnt you ever heard "if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all"

Diesel it was a joke, possibly influenced by an early start to thirsty Thursday, I was just busting on him. It was "Stick up your ..." rules, not stick it. I was just implying that it seemed like he was taking himself too seriously. Probably a nicer way I could have said that. Isn't the most important thing here to have fun with GFX, not dock someone for making a slight mistake in how they submitted their entry. Thanks for cleaning out your Inbox. And for the guy who can't wait to see my work, I'm probably average at best because I straight refuse to use tutorials, but Cheers!

And for the guy asking about those guys who have a lot of sigbar points. Things might be different now, but for a while back in the day, people who did requests got sigbar points from the site. The S-mods and Admins would give them out. S-mods and Admins have the ability to add sigbar points to their accounts in order to do this.

Pretty sure I just broke a rule about not posting messages like this in the SOTW theme thread.

GFX is all about fun, but fun for everyone, not just the entrants. After running SOTW in the past i know how much effort it is and how much time it takes to put the poll up each week and the theme thread etc And it is highly frustrating to have to add codes and chase people up for entry fees etc so its no fun then.

We have these rules, very simple, easy to follow rules to make it easier to the competition runner. Its not hard to send a fee, a pm and proper code etc So to make sure people follow the rules, as with any place, we give a slight penalty, 1 vote big deal...

Do you enjoy playing football for example? There are rules in football EVERYONE has to follow and when people break the rules they get punished, free kick, yellow/red card or suspension...

Rules are easy to follow, whilst still having fun.

Yeh dude I don't make the rules because I like to penalise people. I make them because otherwise it would be too difficult and time consuming to run.

Firstly, the entry fee, if we don't penalise people who don't submit the fee then why would they submit the fee if they aren't going to be penalised if they don't?

Secondly the title, I get on average about 5-10pm's a day, meaning 35-50pm's each week, so if I had to sift through them each saturday and pick out the entries that have random titles I would spend ages doing it. Its much easier if they are all the same title, that way I can bulk select the entries and move them to a folder, otherwise I would have to open up every msg to check and make sure its not an entry.

Thirdly, the sponsor msg title. I get points for selling sigs, for my sig shop and for comps I have won, so if someone wanted to sponsor SOTW how would I know its a sponsor and not points for some other reason? Once again its a small thing to do and helps me out big time with saving time.

Finally, you have only just come back so don't judge me as if you know me. You don't know me from a bar of soap so don't assume anything about me, let alone publicly say it.

P.S. Neither the admins or mods have ever added points to their own accounts, and only admins have that option.

Everyone has fun, making a compulsory title format for SOTW entry certainly has not, and will not take the fun away from this. Furthermore if you feel its not fun anymore, don't enter SOTW then, no-one is forcing you to.

:)

With what I said about admins adding points. I wasn't implying that they abuse the system. I just remember Noobie having to add points to her account to give them to people who made sigs.

Lol guys I think we can get off of Ferahgo. I know he said something messed up and wrong but honestly I don't think he meant it the way that we all took it. He's just trying to explain himself now, and mentioning things in the past that he enjoyed compared to how things are now.

We can't really criticise him for that, and honestly if someone went in the feedback section and said that you should change the forum back to the way it was before, what would you say, ok? Or would you tell him to leave if he doesn't like it here anymore? I would bet on the fact that most people would tell him to leave. I've experienced that before.

Also, I don't think that the mods or admins have to explain why any changes were made to the site anyway...So ya. Thats my 2 cents.
