Signaturebar.com's Signature of the Week (SOTW) Official Rules
(Read carefully as they differ from previous competitions).
SOTW 2009 RULES
Entries & Voting:
▪ Competition runs from Mon-Fri Midnight GMT & Voting is from Sat-Monday Midnight GTM. All entries submitted after Friday will not be included.
▪ A thread will be made on Monday announcing the Theme. Any discussion related to that week's SOTW is to be done in this thread. No entries should be posted in this thread.
▪ Your signature entry must not exceed the following size dimensions: 450x350px.
▪ Entries are to be submitted VIA PM to KRS25 with the topic title 'SOTW #_ Entry'.
▪ Entry costs 50sbp and is to be donated to KRS25 with the title 'SOTW #_ Entry'.
▪ Once you submit your entry under no circumstances can be be changed.
▪ You cannot submit your entry for CnC prior to entering it into the SOTW. At the Conlusion of the SOTW you are welcome to then post your Sig in the correct forum for CnC.
▪ Your entry must be a new piece of work and you cannot submit a premade piece.
▪ On Saturday, a SOTW Voting Thread will be made with an official poll and the entries. No general talk is permitted in this thread.
▪ Voting is to be done in the supplied poll as well as a reply to that thread stating reasons for your choice.
▪ You cannot vote for your own entry.
▪ Staff are free to enter the competition.
Prizes:
▪ On Tuesday the previous week's SOTW winner will be announced.
▪ He/she will receive a special winners stamp that they can display in their current sig for boasting rights.
▪ The winner will also receive 80% of the entry fees.
▪ Runner up will receive 20% of the entry fees.
▪ Both the winner and runner up will be listed in the SOTW Hall of Fame.

Reasoning for the changes.
The main change to Sigbar's SOTW is the change in entry terms. We feel by entering via PM, there will be a certain anonymity with entries, allowing for fair voting rather than biasism for a certain designer or favouritism. We have also extended voting beyond the weekend til Monday Midnight to allow more time for accurate voting results.
