It can be almost anything as there are a wide array of web comics. From this (http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php) to this (http://files.redvsblue.com/web/images/comic/RT_Comic_Ep103_Moron.jpg) and anything in between. If its a comic, and published online, its a web comic =]

An online manga is not a web comic.


Not necessarily. As long as the manga is specifically "printed" online then technically it is a web comic. Specially if it says web comic right on the website XD

are there really comics that are only available online?! I thought that they all were printed for sale... than, that means that, the most "famous" comics cannot be used... :(
