SOTW...CLAMPING DOWN ON RULES

Ive noticed that some people are getting a bit lazy with the rules just lately.

Some people are forgetting to put their name on their entry

Some arent putting their code in the correct fomat.

Please can everyone re-read the rules for sotw if they are at all unsure, and any questions, please feel free to ask any member of staff for help and advice. :D thank you xxx

From this day on, anyone not following the rules will be disqualified from that weeks sotw.

Could we also be a bit stricter with the themes? People always seem to work their way around them ending up being able to use any render they want, and maing just a random sig.

Exactly why I havent participated.
I feel its lame to have a theme and people just do a freestyle sig and then say the theme is Signature Bar, they just do whatever sig and write signature bar on it. That shouldn't count at all.
It should fit the theme correctly not just an easy way into it.

I havnt seen anything like what your saying for ages, and we havnt had a sigbar related theme in ages, so i dont see how someone could enter a freestyle sig with www.signaturebar.com on it...

Just last week. It was freestyle but had to have someone elses name on it. Also a couple still didn't fit the theme.

see, imo there is nothign wrong with that theme, it allows people to have a freestyle, but freestyle with a catch, u have to make it about sigbar, eg a gift.

i seen on some forums, the theme every second week is freestyle. we cant restrict every1 all the time and we have to cater for all! sometimes only way to do that is freestyle (or close to it)

I do understand there have been some questionable sigs for the last 2 or 3 sotw,
this weeks theme (52) was yourself, I think 4 people truelly followed the theme. When I think of yourself it should be a Sig of you and only you. You can take an easier route and do one of things that relate to you but thats not the theme, the theme isn't what relates to you.

So I see what they are saying but with this said I understand how this can be interpeted differently by different people. If anything we just need to be CLEARER or have an outline on the less clearer themes. You say animals as a theme but you dont see someone making a sig of themselve because Hey I am an animal lol thats lame.

I seriously agree with A-dam and Zehro, being an offender myself i am a hypocrite saying this.

Just mods, please try and keep tighter a cap on the theme, because some people (probably including me) stray from it.

Me too would get involve on this, lets just make sure it ends like always on friday and start the new one on Monday, ill keep and eye on the themes and people fiting sigs on the themes, ill try to sugggest themes so we dont get stuck with the same all the time.

And one more time i offer myself to render your pics if you are having problems with that, i have always been lazy about this but maybe just maybe ill try and fix a tut about rendering.

Just another little reminder, as people are still forgetting their codes, and in the correct format too.
Someone got disqualified today because of it, and we dont want it happening again :)
