well a m8 of mine asked me to post some of my stuff here. this piece is entirly from scratch. no renders, no c4d, no reference pics or textures. just started with a black canvas. c&c

this entire project was done in photoshop. the planet and the clouded background were all rendered and texturised with cs2, cuz im to lazy to go out and dl cs3 :? im glad you guys like it. this is comprised of oooooooo.... lets put it at a nice rounded 90 layers. never bothered to add em up lol :D i sketched the rough of it and then phailed at scanning and coloring so i just said screw it and made all the components.

This is really amazing, but if you think about it, it's not horribly hard. I doubt i could get anywhere close though.

thnx guys, actualy the bg of the pic took me like 15 mins, the planets on the other hand, took prety much all the time. btw, theres a lot more to it that meets the eye ;P the planets themselves are 7 layers
