Just a reminder to those who keep on replying to spam. We have a Rule for this and it goes as follows:
If any members see spam being posted, could you all please not reply to it.
It will bring the topic up to the top of the page, and will therefore be noticed by other members more.
A member of staff will get to it soon
You will probably recognise it as spam, as it will be a new member's first post, and will probably not make any sense, or will not be in the correct part of the forum.
So please REFRAIN from commenting on Spam posts. If you think it is spam it mostlikely is spam, and a Moderator will take care of soon enough.
Thank you very much.

u guys have a tuff job moderating those spam, i see it a lot just recently this month. it usually gets taken care of, its just anoyying, thanks for moderating tho :P
one way to stop it would be to have a 10 post limit before being able to create a thread. but then again new people couldnt create cnc threads with 0 post or even introduction threads.
woops. i just read the thread about points.
This is just another reminder to all members, DO NOT REPLY TO ANY FORM OF SPAM WHATSOEVER.
Even if you are just a member trying to help out, thinking the spammer is a confused member as well. This is backseat moderating and very annoying.
If you think its spam of any form contact a staff member, there are plenty of us. We will take care of it.
Thanks.

Have a look at the thread i linked to. Do you think its a bot?
It IS indeed a bot. They can be tricky to spot sometimes, but keep an eye out and im sure you will be able to tell.
Signs to spot a bot:
1) weird unusual name
2) 1 post
3) posting in wrong section
4) posting links (often harmful or pornographic)
5) post smileys we dont offer on sigbar, have a look to the left of ur post!
6) has an icq
7) has a weird email like eg foodgood@iseegirls.net
If you have any suspicion of a bot, DO NOT POST, but instead PM a staff member about it.
Id rather see a true new member not replied to for a bit then a spam bot replied to quickly. So be aware before you post!

There were spam links today that people replied to
Please do not do this as mentioned above, send the link of the post to a member of staff and they will handle it
