i some sites have done this already to tr and stop the spammers ,it seems to common nowadays, but before you can give a webaddress you have to have 30 plus posts , i cant see them putting in the effort into 30 posts just get there spam out

On a site I moderate, spam is going out of control. We have a 10post rule like most forums and the bots still manage to post spam. It's a nightmare!

I think 5-10 is enough...Honestly. But If it gets to a point of being that bad it could always be increased to whatever is needed.

I speak for all the staff when I say that we do try our best to stop spam as soon as possible, but we cannot watch the site 24/7

So fi you do see any spam, PM me or any of the staff and we will get onto it asap

of course i'm not critizing your efforts and to be honest ye do a very good job. Its just an idea , i have seen a number of sites taken this option and its usually over 15 messages, as far as i know its just a little mod.
