Teams

I believe we should have a teams section where with the right amount of posts we can make our own teams to battle each other um just chat with each other in our team area show off our work, share tutorials, get feedback on other stuff and all sorts of other stuff i think it would be really fun. What happens is we can make up a form like the request form for making teams and once we have like 2 or 3 we wont allow any more until those teams are filled in.
This will help how you may ask? Well i think it would be good bc if we wanted tutorials and psd's some ppl might not want to share them with the wrest of the site encase of rip and stuff and may think they trust the members of the team more then some ppl on the site, also with battles teams can battle each other knowing that they believe the other team has the same skilled artists as theirs and may feel more confident then they would if they where entering bsotw or sotw or some other battle.
Where did i get this stupid idea from you may also ask? This idea has come from many, many, many, MANY, in fact basically all of the the other gfx forums i have been on of late.
Well all i can say now is i hope all this text makes sense and my idea gets approved thank you very much for taking your time to read this thread.

As maddog said there has already been about 4 mentions of teams etc. Nothing is stopping you from having team battles and what not but to give them each a separate part of the forum and to cut everyone else from the resources etc would not be good for the site.

Personally i see no need for teams. You can have the occasional team battle as we have already seen, thats enough imo.

if anyone's intrested in joining -Team GB- just change your coustom title to team GB & get msn & add me we can construct a diffrent forums for our team ;)

i think its a good idea as well. i have seen alot of team stuff done in alot of other forums and it definately does have an appeal to some of us. but i agree with storm i think teams should have their own part of the forum. or maybe if we dont have our own section of the forums then atleast have a few topics for team stuff like team battles, and team discussion and stuff like that.

planet renders has the team system, and so does artist core- but the site is down right now.

Teams are a good idea, how do you put stuff into the custom thing. Mine says addicted member can I change that or do i have to wait till I get to a certain amount of posts?

and as for the re post of the idea im sorry i should have looked but their rly is no need for it but it would probably increase the popularity of this site im not to sure its just a bit of fun lol also it wouldn't need you admin/mods to look after it, it would be up to the owners of the teams to look after their own teams.
