I think it would be a good idea if we could better organise the tutorials sections: GIMP and PS. For example - have separate sections for sigs/effects/text etc. This would help new members find useful info and help - I was looking throught the tuts earlier and I found some really ace ones on the second page or at the bottom of the pile. If the tutorials sections were filled better then great tutorials would be less overlooked.

Good idea?

Why not just make new posts saying: TEXT TUTORIALS and put links in there?

And so on with the other forums

actually, you CAN have subforums on phpBB3. all you do is go to ACP > General > Manage Forums and make a new forum. while configuring the new forum, choose the 'parent forum' whatever the forum is.

i know this from experience. i have a phpBB3 forum. :)

you know ive been thinking about another section maybe to possibly add to the tutorials section that has to do with people discussing different tips and tricks to using photoshop.
theres alot of times i want to show people different tips and tricks to doing things with photoshop that most people dont know anything about but i know im personally too lazy to actually create a full length tutorial.
but maybe if we had a section for tips and tricks then it would give people a chance to type out different ways of doing things and maybe have a couple images to show what youre talking about but without having to create a full tutorial we could all share these alot easier. and it would give everyone a chance to discuss these techniques and people could learn alot more. and not only that i think alot of people here would be able to see alot of these techniques and apply them in their own sig without having to bother with going through a whole tutorial to learn them.

anyways its just a thought i have had here recently and was kinda curious if anyone else would find something like this handy.

While we are on the subject of tutorials.........

I would love a section to post tutorials that are for programs other than GIMP or PS.

actually, you can't. i'm looking in the comparison charts between 2 and 3, and subforums aren't available in 2, and now in 3. hey, noobie or TD, what version is this?

The only way it could be older is if its PHPBB 1, PHPBB forums usually upgrade themselves.
