using PS7

I have this image with a background. and a really nice abstract background.
how do i cut the image out of the 1st BG and move it to the 2nd one??

i tried using magic wand but it doesn't take the whole image because it has nearly the same colors as the background. and even if i manage to move it, do i need to do something to blend that image into the background?? :shock:

Hi,
I guess PS7 would be similar to PScs2..what I do..I use the magnetic lasoo tool and go carefully around the picture or image..when you get to the end of where you started it it will outline the picture then you use your move tool and drag the image into your second background.
