Hi guys

As you all know my plans for the new site were much more than simply upgrading to vbulletin, which in itself was great but it certainly wasn't the end all. We have a great new site available to us and the potential to publish unique content (tutorials, reviews, resources) is just waiting to be unlocked.

This post is really offering those of you interested a chance to be part of this new Signaturebar.com Publishing Team.

How Do I Join
=========
Well it's not for everyone and I'm only looking for users that already own and possess examples of tutorials, articles and/or resources they've created and shared on the net. Your english and journalistic skills will have to be spot on and despite there being some room for growth in terms of development and improvement once you join, the overall aspects I'm looking for in individuals is reliability and maturity.

You must have a passion for graphics and/or writing and most importantly must be joining for the longer term. I'm not interested in short term enthusiasts who dissappear for months on end in the middle of a task. (If you want to become a casual contributer there is room for that but that's not for those in this team, this is an elite and prestigous team of writers and publishers that will be working together over the long term, so please think about your availability before applying)

What I'm looking To Publish
==================
I'm currently looking to add some tutorials to the main site so if you own a tutorial (you must have authored it completely i.e. graphics and text) and feel it's good enough to be reformatted and listed on the main site then please pm me with a link to it.

Alternatively if you have other articles related to graphics that could be used e.g. photoshop tips or reviews of certain products associated with graphics then I'm also interested in those.

Those of you that have a flair for publishing brushes, textures and other resources, I would also be interested in your work.

What Do You get Out Of it
=================
Each and every article/resource/tutorial published to the main site will be getting thousands of unique visitors per day. It's a chance to get your work noticed and your own personal portfolio, blog noticed. Each published article will have a link back to the authors details in the form of a text link (e.g. to your blog or forum profile or whatever you choose)

As the site grows if your work is good enough their may even be room for paid work. However those of you wanting to apply and be a part of this should not be doing it for the money. I'm looking for people that want to build a great team which publishes great content. Money should be seen as bonus/side effect of writing good content.

Conclusion
=======
This team won't be built over night but I'm looking to establish an understanding and relationships with those that have interests in the above areas. Get back to me, pm me, or catch me on MSN IM.

Sounds like a great idea because the main page does need a lot of improvement! I'd be very interested in it but I will have to think about it due to other commitments and time constraints. I am average in signature making, however I don't possess the skills to be able to give tutorials on my work as it is more of a trial and error thing. I would be interested in providing the basic tutorials though if you were to have a section for it (such as creating borders, signature tips, making userbars, doing animation, correct way to upload and/or post etc).

Sure I wanna help out also , just an idea to put all the tutorials on the same bg so signaturebar will have is own publicity if I or others post it somewhere else (DA and other graphics related sites)

I made some tutorials in the past and yes I wanna make more and better ones if needed

I agree, I have also made some tutorials, but I'd probably be best at just doing the simpler, basic technique ones.

Well, I haven't done a tutorial in a long time , but I'm pretty good at it, so, if KRS25 has some signatures needed(Or anyone else) to be tutorialized , then maybe he can just tell me the basic things he did to the sig and I'll get the tutorial done, it's not actually that simple , but that was just in plain words.

I think I have a good tongue , for criticism, jokes , what ever. Though I'm not really sure. Writing re-views would be exciting and new for me, I could put that tongue of mine in a good use after these years I guess,haha. Though I'm not really sure if my English is fluent and grammatically correct, though. :/
Dunno, maybe if you're interested , then I can write some text for you, you judging my grammar and other vital parts of having an interesting read. Or what?

When I did look for stocks on my own(Resources) , it was really exciting for me, and I love occasionally jumping in and out of dA, taking back brushes and other c4ds with me.

I have been a technical writer in the aviation industry for many years so the publishing is second nature and I have posted somewhere about a hundred tutorials on various sites but they are all on animation. I rarley use Photoshop and have never used GIMP so I dont know how much use they would be to you. The tutorials are for Animation Shop, Cinema 4D and various bits of freeware.

I do not have a lot of experience with this sort of work, but I'm definitely interested in improving and developing different types of tutorials.

I should be able to convince the AV crew, seeing as I am one of their members, even though I'm terribly inactive. ;_;

Hm, I asked Trade about posting +mw resources on this site(as in asking them to) , but he wasn't so positive about it, doubted. I don't know, maybe if you will suddenly ask them to post resources , then maybe Trade wont mind,haha.

Hi guys,

Due to the nature of the work I will be splitting the publishing team into 2 separate teams.

1.) Resources Team
2.) Tutorials Team

Names are pretty self explanatory but the resources team will be focussing primarily on resources e.g. brushes, fonts, renders, stocks and helping share and provide them, whilst the tutorial team will be doing mainly tuts.

I will therefore close this thread and start a new application thread for the resources team. The tutorial team already has 3 potential members but i'll post an application thread for it anyway incase anyone else is interesed.

Thanks for being so patient guys.
