Fernando Torres(ST for Spain,Liverpool)
-Youngest Skipper ever for his former cluc Atletico de Madrid
-Broke many records for Liverpool in his 1st season

Lionel Messi(RF for Argentina,Barcelona)
-Silver in 2007 Fifa Player of the Year Award

Alexandre Pato(ST for Brazil,AC Milan)
-Scored on btoh of his debut for the senior national team and 1st of AC Milan

-Is already compared to fellow Brazillians Ronaldo and Ronaldinho

Wayne Rooney(ST for England,Manchester United)
-The World's Most expensive teenager

-Scored a hat-trick on his debut for Man Utd

Nope the oldest is Fernando and is still just about 24 yrs old and the youngest is Pato about 18 yrs old

CR gets my vote for now, nobody is even in the same class as him at the moment in my opinion, although all these players are fantastic, lionel messi would have been my next choice, also another great player and we can expect a lot more from him in the years to come. :)

I would have put Messi but he has been frequently injured..

i agree that Ronaldo is the best at the moment but i think Pato or Messi would be better in the future if they get away from injuries

even though im a united fan i think messi will such a good player so im gunna have to vote him.when watching him in the barca united game i think i have no choice :(

i voted for ronaldo because he was the most constant player in the season
and was the matchwinner all the time for manu and shot about 30 goals which is not normal for a player who just got used to play forward

i think currently ronaldo is better then messi but u gotta give the lad some time definatlly messi i think very promosing player withe all due respect to cristiano ronaldo!

i know ronaldo and messi are the best NOW but in the future i think Messi will overshadow CR
