This place Is called sigBAR, so how come you guys don't like making userbar tourneys...

I'm sure a lot of people would love to see how much they can fit into 350x19 pixels of space and still do a decent job ;)

Also, i was wondering how many of you were interesting in setting up an irc channel, it would definitely be better for helping people and a great way to be offtopic without mucking up the forums with all the chatter :p

There are several free servers that we can use if you're interested

Sweet, an IRC channel would be nice. I'm pretty much awesome at it too. And the userbar idea is great.

k, the channel is setup, for those of you new to this irc doo-dad, use this, my brother's tutorial:

http://guides.finalgear.com/irc.php

Just change #gear to #sigbar and the server address from irc.finalgear.com to irc.dal.net and you should be fine.

those of you using Chatzilla, or those of you using Firefox, get Chatzilla, then use this link:

irc://irc.dal.net/sigbar

edit: We're online!

don't use that link, check the general section for the proper link...

btw i doubt that it'd be hard to judge, just be objective as to the content, and prolly less points to enter and awarded since it;s less to do, but not too less since it's harder to fit so much in so small.

Blayde you just want UOTW so you can get loads of awards lol. And maybe also because it called sigbar.com lol.

Sssssshhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Even if that's true :O i don't mind staying out of the comps, i get more and more points from noobster for the requests(muuahahah). I would love to help people make better bars instead of sticking to convention and instead churning out the same stuff, make something innovative like i assume i did.

I think a UOTW contest would be good actually. It would give us a chance to enter a competition and not have to make a sig.
