Wii or Xbox 360?

My friend likes the wii better and thinks it kicks the Xboxes buttox. But i disagree totally. :)

Playsation 3 is the best platfor becuase it has motion control and loads of other cool things! The graphics are way better than wii!!!!!!!!!!!

Rianamix, i dont know if you know this but ps3 isnt an option..... i would say go with the 360 if you can afford the extra money, and if you have wireless internet you need an extra $100 for the adapter. Wii is about $150 cheaper, both are great systems.

The Xbox 360 is by far the better system the Wii is for little kids or people who game every now and then.

I think that is a false stereotype. There are games to satisfy a hardcore gamer's taste. It is not just for little kids at all. I spend about 80% of my day playing games. And I'd pick a Wii over an X-box 360. The only way x-box is better, that matters, is their first person shooters. FPS's are incredibly overrated. If you want games that challenge the mind, invent new forms of gameplay, and leap forward in video gaming technology, invest the small amount of money (comparatively) on the Wii. If you want to be an elitist that has no reason to be so narcissistic than buy a 360 and just use the basis of what a few fellow self proclaimed aristocrats have said about a great system that is testing what it takes to be a fun game.

Sure, the graphics aren't as good, and a lot of their games advertised are family oriented. But it would be idiotic marketing wise to show anything else. They have made their huge profits pushing their playability for all ages. But when they say all ages, they truly mean it. You will be sure to find a game that suits your needs. Just look. I myself, vote for Wii.

Wii is for casual gamers. Or should I say for people who casually play video games. They are hardly considered "Gamers". As for the majority of people who play video games every day, 360 takes the cake. We want .. more like need .. that fix of Xbox Live everyday. Can't live without it :).

I have both systems, but I play the 360 way more than the Wii. When I first got the Wii I played it a lot, but after awhile it got boring. So I like the 360 better because of the FPS games and action. But also the Wii is good when your bored of the 360, plus you get exercise while playing (If your playing the Wii Fit).

Did you really take that seriously? I am indeed a gamer, yet I don't actually spend every waking minute on my PC/360. If I did, then I would not have a social life now would I? If you have a 360, which I believe you do, and you don't spend at least 15 minutes on it everyday, what's the point in spending that much money on something your going to use every now and then. I just get my $350 or so out of it.
