That would probably be one of the best rips I've ever seen. I actually thought his was the original and yours was the rip.

I've not ripped that... There's a Tutorial on Deviantart for this... and I simply followed this piece of tutorial very carefully... I take about 10 Hrs to get such a outcome... also I've found the same C4d she used and so on... it's not ripped at all... even if it looks like its so... how should I ditch the original text and place a new one without disturbing the background and so on ?.. rly... I'm too ambitious to simply rip some work of others...

I was coming home from Greece today and heared that my grandma died in the hospital as I was on vacation... and then I was going to get some other thoughts by designing and sketch something and to read how the competition is going on... and then I read this and the comments on this... and... yeah... that's just something enough... cause posting some sigs and so on to this forum means some freetime of all problems for me... cause designing is something that i doing for my life...

i think you miss understood my Xcellent i was on your side. when i said

from reading this and all the other replies i just gotta say im sorry man, about what had happened,, i also believe people here really come too quick conclusions being unjust .. i think these quick accusations of being a ripper and getting banned should have set a side and before proper proof for future occurences is provided so we actually think rationally and not just right off the bat base it off what we think we know

like theres probably thousands of tuts out there and every single one that show similarities were going to point out were gonna blame them as a ripper?? that is not always the case and i thnik u guys should apologize.. not only just because his grandmother died but because of the prejudice he served from just merely folowing a tutorial.

also the creator of the tutorial should very well know to put somewhere on their tutorial that it is there work and that should anyone folow their tutorial should they have given credit. which clearly is not stated in the devArt link.. im also not saying that any tutorial has no saying of "give credit" should be ripped...

I can delete it on this site here and on the image-upload site... cause this was just practice and I've never used this as a offical sig on some other site and its not posted on an other site too... so if she has something against this so extremly similar sig... she should say it and its gone from the web...

first of all, xcellent im sorry that you grandma died but you can't let it affect to your acting and specially you shouldn't come here throwing out bad words.

wolvy did right when he showed us that sig and you can't start to blame him because of that, think example if you would find almost similar sig that you have done, what would be your first conceit?

ok about sig, for me it looks really like ripping, if not whole sig ripping atleast layer rip, as render is same size and is in same place (all pixels are in same places)
but most of effects are in different place or are little bit different
but difference can be because of brighten and darker sharpen etc tools...

basically i can't do decision myself as im just super mod and don't have clear opinion about this (and also i can't ban :D )

but my summary of this is that if it isn't layer/sig rip it is atleast idea rip (but it isn't that bad thing that we would ban for it)
but that sig looks too similar to wolvy's sig that i have to say that it is ban...

but also i have noticed that you are pretty talented gfxer also (Rf logo was pretty cool, if it wasn't ripped :p joking sorry..) so i also believe little bit that you would have made it looking exact same but i don't understand why to spend 10h to copying :S i could have done in that time 10 sig and get better by that way :S

im waiting for AK, jeff and storm opinions...

before final decision anyone shouldn't say or keep xcellent as ripper...

that psd is in one of wolvy packs...

i still keep pretty suspicious that you would have been doing all those layers yourself and placing those exactly same place...

do you still have psd of that sig? if yes could you please post it that we could compare layers of both sigs ;)

Sorry about you grandmothers passing Excellent.

As for this whole thing, I will let this slide even though it is very suspicious, specially with everything lining up the same exact way on both sigs apart from the top layer c4d and the text. I don't believe you ripped the whole sig but I do believe there are parts that you did in fact copy, example: overall Compo of the sig, BG blurred areas. No one copies a tutorial the exact same way.

I do believe that you are talented with graphics, maybe this was an earlier sig that you needed help on. Whatever the reason any form of ripping is not acceptable, and will not be allowed here. As for letting you slide with this warning I think its fair as I am split on whether or not its a rip.
