Imho I think everyone is afriad to die whether or not they admit it because nobody knows what happens when you die and its perfect human nature to fear what is unknown.

I think a better question is are you courageous when it comes to your own death, as courage is the ability to go head first into something you fear and to face that fear to the best of your abilities.

I'm not worried about dieing because I don't know how or when I am going to die, it's probably the other way round for most people but so long as I die quick I couldn't care less.

the question should be, why does death scare people so much?Never really figured that out.

its not death, i actualy welcome its embrace. Its a fear of not living up to my own expectations. when all is said and done, the real question is, can you look yourself in the mirror and say that you led a life to the best of your ability. im afraid that i would fail myself and god if i didnt live life to my full potential and purpose. and when its time, its time... no need to fear the end because frankly... its coming. That fact consoles me enough to put my life on the line in persuit of my goals. if i were to die without a cause, there were plenty of oppertunities where i could have done so

it's a waste of time fretting about something that is going to come to us all eventually, better spending the time living our life than worrying about how it will end. and i agree that it is more a fear of the unknown. we can all only hope that we all live a long, healthy and fullfiled life and that we all go peacefully in our warm cosy beds. i know i will be ok as long as when i go i can honestly say that i have lived my life the way that i wanted to and done as many of the things that i wanted to do and not regreted a thing or hurt anyone along the way. life is for living not just existing and by dwelling on what we cannot control, what may or may not be, we are not living and that i would regret. :D
